About 8000 migrants – mostly coming from Afghanistan and Pakistan – live in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Most find refuge inside abandoned houses or factories without water, electricity, or toilets.
Dozens of times, they have attempted what they themselves call “the game”: the crossing between the Bosnian and Croatian border. According to their stories, they have almost always been intercepted by the Croatian police and were beaten, robbed, and sent back.
