Una Popović (1978) is an art historian and curator from Belgrade. She graduated Art History at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. Since 2007 she has worked as a curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. Currently she is the senior curator of Collection of Photography, Film, Video and Digital media in Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade. Una Popović’s work is directly related to research in the field of contemporary art, from historical conceptualism to current practice. She has achieved significant cooperation with the regional and international scene and organized international projects. In 2013, she was invited to be a visiting curator at the Tate Modern Museum in London, where she, as one of the curators, arranged an exhibition named Inverted House in the Project space gallery at Tate Modern. From recent curatorial and co-curator projects, the following are highlighted: Ways to Overcome, a group international exhibition in cooperation with Kunslerhaus Bremen, Germany (2013); Photodocuments 02 at the Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade (2012). In the Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade she organized important photography exhibitions.
