Dubravka Lazić, artist, professor, doctor of filmology, vice-dean of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, lecturer by invitation at faculties in Serbia (FPU Belgrade, FF Novi Sad) and in China (CUC Peking).

Education – from painting, through master’s degree in photography to doctoral studies in filmology – realized at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

She realized her artistic work in the form of numerous exhibitions (in the region, Europe and the USA) and continuously participates in the popularization of photographic and interdisciplinary art through various projects (DAHD studio; Danube links, Research of non-standard artistic practices: photogram, monotype, collage; Bildtransfer; World biennaleof student photography and others), and through author-conceived lectures (Development of the photographic medium, Photography as a cultural medium) and in parallel works on the theoretical approach and analysis of photography as a medium and artistic discipline.

She has published numerous theoretical works in representative peer-reviewed journals and is the author of a textbook on photography and the book Neorealism in Italian film and photography. She is currently the organizer and member of the artistic council of the new exhibition and club space OAC, which aims to promote innovative and non-specific artistic content.
