Dear friends and lovers of photography,

we are pleased to announce that the annual Competition in contemporary photography, in seven official categories, has just opened. All applicants can send in their work by February 3, 2020.

The thirteenth edition of Rovinj Photodays is open to all international photographers under the name:

International Competition of Contemporary Photography – 13th Rovinj Photodays, 2020

Photographers can send in their work in one or more official categories according to competition rules and procedures, detailed on www.photodays-rovinj.com

Competition dates for 2020: December 2, 2019 to February 3, 2020

All entries are sent to the organizers who then forward them to the expert judging panel. The jury will then choose the best work and decide on the winners. This facilitates a fair selection of up to three best entries for each category.

Names of the finalists will be announced through the official festival web page and the media. Every year photographers and their selected photographs are being promoted through a traveling exhibition, a catalog, the official festival website, various media announcements and on all festival promotional material.

Winners are officially announced during the Rovinj Photodays closing party (May 9^th, 2020)

All category winners will receive the official statuette ‘Kadar’, an invite to Rovinj for the formal awards giving party on May 9th, 2020, paid for accommodation in Rovinj during the festival, and a participation in the exhibition.
